Rock chips on wheel spoke
All,
I found two small rock chips on the spokes of this wheel (well, the back one actually but you get the idea) that removed the paint. They were quite small, and likely noticeable only to me when the wheels were clean. Application of sophisticated painting techniques (a black Sharpie) rendered them nearly invisible.
My real question is whether or not this is a common event for these wheels. In 49 years of driving I honestly don't remember getting rock chips on a wheel spoke, but I haven't had a lot of black wheels where it would be quite so noticeable.
