LOT OF ERRORS
Driving today in NYC in the cold/damp. No snow falling. Car was working well then parked via park assist. When started up again got a lot of errors. Tried restarting but to no avail. Perhaps sensors need to dry? Absurd....
Less than 3600 miles. will be 3-4 times going to shop to be fixed for different issues.

Sorry to hear that. Let us know what was it when you find out from the dealer. My brother had a broken injector on his month old S63 e-performance. The dealer fixed it quickly, all is good now. I am wondering what issues the SL gets, I got nothing on mine, one year all good. Only upgrades/software updates. Oh, and a cracking noise that was some bearing at front left tire that they changed right away. That was actually the only issue, first month of ownership.

Picked up SL43 3 days ago and drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles. 400 miles on the car and check engine light is on. Car drives fine. Keep me posted as to what you find out with your car, and I'll update you with my news. Thanks

I took the SL 43 to the dealer today. They told me that they need to replace the thermostat. It will take a week because they will need to bleed the system at regular intervals. I truly hope that this will be the only issue and that they can fix it for good.

The dealer is claiming it takes a week for a coolant bleed??? Is this another example of over complicating the simple???? Any guesses on the cost of a coolant change??? It takes about 30 minutes( including breaks) change a 560SL coolant.

They claimed they can't even start bleeding it until they get the go ahead from Germany, which apparently takes several days. So they will start on Monday. They also stated that the bleeding needs to be done in stages. The madness.....

So my car has been in the dealership for 2 weeks now. They found dirt in the coolant. They are replacing the entire radiator system. Apparently it's a common issue that they've encountered. Hope this will be it!!!

Fingers crossed that fixes it. I got my SL43 back Monday after a week in the shop. Was just a faulty exhaust value that was staying open and causing the check engine light to stay on, they replaced the hose and valve and everything is working fine now.
