Augmented reality sl43
Just bought 2023 AMG sl43 and cannot find out how to turn on navigation augmented reality or if I really have it? We have a Genesis gv70 and it is disabled on it for some reason because of US laws? It seems some folks have it in their MB vehicles and live in the States.

In my Mercedes that have augmented reality it's automatically on, normally you wouldn't need to enable it (I'm in the US). It's available as an option on the SL43 (mine doesn't have it) so are you sure your model was equipped with it? It was not generally included on the standard specs that shipped to the US.

I found the augmented navigation in my SL55 to be so annoying that I looked for ways to turn it off. But considering I really only use nav through Apple Car Play it doesn't make a difference.

That augmented navigation feature, unless you already have some kind of experience with it, takes a lot of getting used to.
My attempts at using it, and making sense of it, is limited to what I can see on the HUD.
If I tried to refer to the main screen, especially when I was close to a turn or merge, I would become dangerously distracted as it became less user friendly at critical moments.
I would not recommend the feature to anyone not already familiar with it.
