2023 SL63 + 2021 Cayenne e-hybrid
Too funny (agree!), my challenge is to get it to engage without incident.
Agree that the double-tap works, I continue to be pleased with myself when I can do it without unsettling the car. It's not quite on par with a perfect 4 --> 2 downshift, but I will take the wins that I can find. Audi's implementation is just so much better of the auto-hold. Champagne-problems . . . KH

In the SL: after you stop the car with the foot on the brake (obviously) just tap one more time. Never release. So stop the car and then apply the brake again, a bit harder.
