5 ear old LC500 with under 20k miles can be had for 60k. About 35 off original price of 95 with options. That is pretty good. But not stellar. The 5 year old 911 gt3RS sells for more than original list. Some Ferrari models are appreciating or have zero depreciation. But honestly, who cares about Japanese cars? Every Japanese design decision is based on reliability. Not quality… they are not the same. They use maximum cheap parts that operate in a minimal performance envelope. To maximum effect on reliability. Hats off to them for moving people around. Enjoy dying in a crash with an Audi. Or a tree. Or a deer. Least safe cars on the road when compared pink for pink with American and German cars. I have a niece in design at GN and a buddy in design at Toyota. The philosophy of the two companies are quite different. Toyota know they are boring. The lc 500 is a snooze. In 2026 Toyota will launch two new sport cars. The new LFA and the new Supra. I wish them well. I would love a reliable high performance car. Until then it’s German or Ferrari for me.

Check the convertibles, they are holding values quite well.... noticeably better than the coupe.

LC500 is perfect for what I want. Lexus quality and reliability, NA proven V8, heavy.

I need another convertible to drive, my R129 is getting up there at 70k miles lol.
