Got a 2022 SL55 w/ under 700 miles on it and a buyback title little over a week ago. Paid 81k, sticker was 147 so 45% off. Previous owner (CA) said the car had a steering problem at low speed, hence the buyback. Had 11 recalls done by dealer and 20 months of factory warranty remaining.
It's been flawless so far, I drove it from Chicago to Idaho , through the snow in Wyoming and it's nothing but fantastic. No battery issues (came with the battery tender but haven't used it) and it sat for a few days here in Idaho during the rain.
Anyway, I know there's a lot of negativity on the board and it almost convinced me not to buy, I'm glad I did.
Congratulations. Make sure you thoroughly rinse off the topside and more importantly the bottom side of your car immediately after driving in conditions like that. Seeing the weathery part of your drive, gave me the shivers, as I can’t really imagine taking mine out in those conditions.
