This is one nice car... well kept..

To think that $18000+ tax could get all that.

I have that exact car, although in tan on red. Excellent Mercedes. It was once my grandfather's. Living on the East Coast, it's sad when she has to go into the garage to stay away from the salt and snow.

Really moves and even has a rechargeable flashlight built into the glovebox and all the interior and trunk lights are on key-out timers. SLs have always been slightly ahead of the curve....the 107s were way ahead of almost everyone else and stayed that way for a while. It was once my grandfather's. They just don't make them like the used to!

That car had 1 option, not a list of dozens.... had a list price of $18,000 (equal to about $80,000 today) and was head and shoulders above the rest of its' competition. Alas..
