idle warm up problem
TER....I have a smilar problem with my 74 450sl...idles rough for about 20 minutes until temp reaches exactly 180...then runs like dream......can anybody relate to this.??

Idle is non-adjustable, per se. You need to check the idle speed controller. I recommend you navigate to mercedesshop.com or mbnz.org and search the Sl fora... This issue has been discussed at length.
