1980 450SL Stalling/no power
Hi all,
I am experiencing some problems with my SL I have had the car sitting for about 2 years. I have replaced the fuel pump, filter, and cleaned injectors. The car has been running OK, albiet a little rough for about a tank of gas. Before I parked it a couple years ago it was suffering form a stalling problem. I figured the Fuel pump had solved this issue, but it is back. It will run great for a day or two, and then stall arbitrarily, or just run poorly. A couple of times the car will "bog" down when I step on the gas pedal. It will do this cold or warmed up. I have been reading a lot about Fuel Pump Relays. DOes anyone with a simular 450 have any sugestions, or advice, or experience? Any help or insite would be greatly appreciated!
