SL/R107: What color is it???

What color is it???
In the coming year or so, I am going to be purchasing a 450SL for my wife. She has been in love with this car since she first saw it almost thirty years ago. The only thing is, it MUST be the right color. It is a silver-blue metallic with a medium blue top. Does anyone know the official MB name for this color from way back when? I don't want to fly across the country looking at a car and find out it wasn't quite what we thought it was, y'know?

It would help if you had posted a photo or scan of the car in the color.....
I can guess Nautical Blue Metallic (929) -- but that color seems in my mind to be slightly darker in tone than the "silver-blue metallic" that you have mentioned in your post....
And yes, it does look great with a blue top

Good news!
Lynn, in his infinite wisdom, pointed me to a site called paintscratch.com, where you enter the year and make of the car and they will then display the official colors that were available for that car!
