300CE/90 and 500SL/86
My new SL
Hi Guys,
just wanted to share with you my joy of my new car! Apart from 300CE, which I use for everyday driving, I have finally found quite good looking 500SL in colors I always wanted.
Data of the car:
manufactured late 1985 as 1986 model, ordered by dealer in Regensburg, Germany. It was owned to cca 6 owners, some of the left also service history. Most of the time it was owned by a wife of a garage in Germany.
It has now 195000 kms and as far as I can see, most parts are original.
Problems which I knew at the time of buy:
- leaking gearbox
- leaking differential
- loose steering
- weak A/C
- cruise control not working
- hard shift of seats and some scratches.
What I found from that time is leaking radiator, worn brakepads and some small things.
Enough of data - have a look for yourself isn't it beautifull?
