Advice on pruchasing 1975 450sl 21k miles

Hi everyone, I am new to this site. What a site and what a wealth of info. I am considering purchasing a 1975 VERY low mileage (21k) 450sl. The catalytic converter is under the car not under the hood, it was driven by a little old man and it is at a classic car shop. The car is in "mint condition" on the outside. The car has mtce records as per the requirements set out in the manual according to mileage. The shop is going to service the vehicle and change all the rubber seals and anything else it finds. I would love to hear your opinion on buying such a low mileage vehicle. Does such a low mileage vehicle generally end up costing $1000's in deferred mtce charges? I have a 1989 560sl (my dream car but I have not had it for that long) I just love the lines of these cars.
