Brake booster check valve on a 78 450SLC
Hi Fellow Benz Affectionados,
Well I goofed up and broke my brake booster check valve on my 78 450SLC and after visiting EPC Net the diagrams don't show the silly thing and the local (less than helpful) dealership doesn't have a clue either.
So, does anybody have any idea what the part number could be or a source for a replacement parts like this?
I've cobbled together a Rube Goldberg arrangement with an aftermarket check valve for a Chevy but I'd like to find one more similar in shape/configuration.
Thanks
Wayne

Brake Booster Check Valve on 450 SLC
Hi Wayne
I have found that the magic key for information on these thoroughbreds is the VIN number.
Go to your nearest MB Agent Spare Parts Department, armed with your vehicle VIN number, and ask the question.
I am in South Africa and I have a 1980 450 SLC and I am amazed at the availablity of genuine parts off the shelf from the dealership.
Good luck.
