Is this the N44/1 O2 sensor timer on a R107?

The O2 sensor light is illuminated on my R107. The maintenance documentation indicates that this light is controlled by a timer or mileage indicator.
This is on VIN WDBBA48D1HA057655, which is a '87 model.
Attached is a photo of what may be the part, immediately in front of the horn
on the Passenger side near the firewall. The plastic box is black, although
the photo shows as white because of specular reflection.

The exhaust manifold is the gray thingy in the lower right-hand corner of the photo.

Some reports say to look under the carpet on the pass side, but I did not find anything there that looks like this.
