This is a shot in the dark and apologies if this has been posted somewhere else... I'm new to all this.
Anyone able to locate the circuit board schematic for the Ignition Control Module for a 1984 380SL? The part number is Bosch 0227100042 0025452632. I have read that the resistor clipped to the inside of the case can go bad and some of you out there might have repaired the module. I can't see anything the resistor to identify a replacement candidate. Anyone have an idea?
I'm pretty sure it's shot and would also like to test/diagnose it to make sure (have good battery, fuses, fuel, no spark, new coil). Any information in that arena would be great too.

Most do not bother with e OE box any more. There is an inexpensive replacement. http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...0545%2026%2032

After several intermittant stalling on my 83 380sl over 2 months, my car finally would not start. Turned over OK. Symptom was no spark. Igntion coil had 10k ohms, so OK. I purchased and installed a "Huco" Ignition Module, on ebay for $42. Car started up right away. The unit has a 5 year warranty. Module is located in engine compartment, forward of drivers side wheel well. behind head light. I am happy.
