Question 1978 450SL - Vibrations after upshifting

Hello,

When I accelerate in my 1978 450SL, I hear and feel vibrations after the transmission upshifts. The shifts themselves seem smooth, but then I get the vibrations for about a second and a half. The issue is worse when accelerating harder - like getting on the freeway.

I'm thinking maybe it's the transmission mounts or motor mounts. Does that sound right? I haven't been under there yet to check them out.

Could be trans. mount. Could also be the fex discs. Stop driving and check the flex discs. If one gives out the damage it can do is more than a '78 US model is worth.

I was told the transmission mounts and flex discs are fine and they couldn't tell me more without checking out the transmission. I think maybe I need a second opinion. I really want it to be the mounts.
