Soft top plug keep popping up in back
I have a 1989 560SL. The hard top was on too long, finally took it off. Now the soft top is messed up. The plug in front of trunk keeps popping up.not able to keep soft top up. I do not have a regular mechanic other than the dealership, which is too costly. I am in PA. Should I find an independent or a body shop to help with the soft top? Lots of rain, so she is in the garage. What is causing the top not to stay connected to the body? How do I find a shop to work on my car?
