Qusetion about the top cover 1976 450SL
The 1976 450SL I purchased has a problem with the convertible top cover. When I inspected the soft top, I opened the top cover I saw substantial rust along the gasket edge. It will probably need a replacement so what years may I search for? I found one from an '85 and one that says 1973-1989 but they look different. I am also wondering why there is an electrical plug on the hard top, there are no lights on it, anyone know?
