I haven't posted on here in a long time, I used to have a C Class but I'm looking at buying a 1986 560SL. I haven't seen the car in person just pictures but it looks really clean, I'll have it shipped to me so I won't see it tell I have it. My biggest concern is the last carfax milage was 96,600 in 2004 and the car now in 2020 has the EXACT same mileage on the odometer as 2004. It was not registered from 2004 to 2009 but it was registered every 11-13 months from 2010 to 2016. Is this something I should worry about and stay away from or can people easily roll back or diable the odometer? Looking at buying the car today so a quick answer would be greatly appreciated!

Its possible the oddometer broke and stopped working . In such case the actualk miles could be much higher like 160,000 or 180,000.
Be very careful as a car with 96.000 miles is worth twice as much as a car with 180,000.
An automatic transmission often goes out around 160,000 miles, or so, and cost $3000 installed for a rebuilt trans and torque converter.
It likely had service the last 10 years so ask the seller for a copy of all the service invoices and see if the miles is the same each time.
