Lost Key
Hi Guys, I’m a Newbie so I hope I’m posting in the correct location. I’m currently using the Valet key on my ‘88 560 SL as the master and regular keys are lost. I’ve been to the local Mercedes dealership but they claim they are no longer able to have the keys made for over 30-year-old cars….Can anyone provide any assistance? Thanks
Disregard the above & for anyone's information...I live in Florida on its west coast. My local dealer gave me the above information...Upon my investigations, I was able to communicate with an R170 owner on BAT. He stated that the above dealer was incorrect. He guided me to another Mercedes dealer which was 45 minutes away and after phoning them, they were able to have the master key re-produced.
