1989 560SL
1989 560 SL Ground/Power Wires for Stereo
Evening All -

On my '89 560SL (155K miles), there is a harness collection of 6 wires for connection to an aftermarket stereo harness.
  • 2 brown grounds - Why 2 ground wires?
  • 2 red ACC power switched - Why 2?
  • 1 red with green stripe - What is this for?
  • 1 white with blue stripe - Assume illumination.
Trying to fix the PO's butchery and keep the aftermarket Alpine from starving the battery again. Thanks for the help!
