Question Installing new visor clips on 107?

Hey all, have a broken male visor clip on my 89 560SL...they have new ones on ebay(expensive but cheaper than replacing whole visor). How are the new clips installed onto the existing visor? Thanks!!!

With the visor removed from the windshield frame, the visor slides off the rod first by turning the visor on the rod and at the same time pulling on the visor until it pulls off the rod, the clip will follow as the rod passes the clip cut-out.

It's easy really, but to get the rod and visor off the windshield, you will have to remove the rear view and vinyl panel first.

How much are they getting for those clips?

Installing new visor clips on 107?

Thanks a million!! I'll give it a try as soon as my clip comes in.....say, any word on where these male clips are less than 30 bucks or so? Seems like an awful lot for such a small simple piece!!
