When will 2006 SL55's be available?

Any idea when they start handing out build dates and/or taking deposits/orders on the 2006's? I realize its very early in the year, just asking.

If I remember correctly, others in the forum have said that over the past few years the new model year becomes available as early as July.

That's my knowledge as far as I recall.

July! Sweet. I've got my 06 SL55 downpayment ready.

A few subtle changes which autospies.com shows. I think someone had posted the link in one of the threads.

I believe the tail lights become AMG tail lights, and some other changes. (Thats for the SL500 I believe).

Since I'm getting the 55, I don't care since if a 500 owner wants the tail lights he can get them anyway for a few bux.
