That means, I've saved some 17lb per corner. 68lb overall.

68 * 4 = 272hp
Of course though, that's got to be insanely off. I don't think that takes in for account my kind of situation
LOL! I was tired when I wrote that last night. I meant to say 1 horsepower is equal to 4-7 pounds!

I guess I was the one who needed to get some real sleep last night!

Ah Mr. Bond... the tables have turned

Okay, so to redo my math

We have 68lb possible free weight. Take the highest number.

68 / 7 = 10 (I like rounding, Physics II AP doens't let us use a calculator).
That's 10hp I can gain, just by removing unsprung weight. Now, I got the 33lb figure from a 22" iForged wheel. I believe those Carlssons and what not are in the 20's.

HRE Comp's are in the 20's, and I think many BBS's are also in that range.

I've seen reports of them being 70lbs. I'm hoping that figure is with the tire... But who knows.

I need to get my butt down to a tire shop and get the rims weighed, tires weighed, and then both weighed @ 40psi and then weighed at 32psi.

If I remember from my high school AP Physics classes, air is pretty light. Something like 1.25 grams per liter at 1 bar. Assuming that you raise the pressure of the air in a tire from 32 to 40 PSI (about 1/2 bar) and that the volume of the tire/rim cavity is 100 liters (guessing) you would be adding about 60 grams or a whopping 4 ounces!

So that wouldn't mean jack crap then.

And if I used Nitrogen, it'd be even less.
But that's arguing absolutley nothing, it's a moot point.

LOL even louder now! Nitrogen is about 10% lighter than oxygen but since air is already over 80% nitrogen, the savings would be something like 2% or about a gram.
