SL65 Silver Arrow
Anyone have or know what exactly came in the Silver Arrow 7800.00 option package? As far as I can tell, it is carbon fiber instead of wood inside, not sure if the silver color exterior is different than Brilliant silver and not sure if the leather is different than the exclusive charcoal leather the normal SL65 has. Anyone know for sure and would anyone pay any extra for a Silver arrow car at this point or is the premium lost on the used market?

Thanks but that is a different car. I am looking for info on the "silver arrow" package on the limited edition SL65's that had it. I think the package consisted of silver arrow paint, different black leather, carbon fiber interior and I assume that is it but the dealers selling them don't know anything about them except that it was a 7000 option and it has carbon fiber interior. Thought maybe someone here had one...

I think Marcus Benz got one of the first. You might want to search for his posts. My understanding is that it is 777 Silver Arrow paint with the Exclusive Nappa Black interior (nicer than on the SL55 which has **non-exclusive** Nappa Charcoal actually even though the package is called Nappa Black) with Carbon fiber trim. It of course comes with the titanium insert 19" wheels.
I have a SL55 777 Silver Arrow. The paint is awesome. Way nicer than Brilliant Silver or even Iridium. However, it does not show up in pics. It is much more metallic and deep as typical Designo paints are. If it were me, I'd spring the $7,000 for the package except that I don't like CF. I'd pay $7K for the Silver Arrow paint alone.
The Nappa in the SL55 with the Nappa Black package is actually very nice and thicker and probably a little more durable than the SL65. My only regret is that it has the more standard leather on the dash. I would have prefered the leather I have on the seats with the exclusive leather on the dash, but I think the colors are different. Charcoal is a little lighter than black according to Steve@MBenzNL.

I am thinking the leather upgrade for the Silver Arrow is the X11 option that can be bought seperately on any 65 or 55. If this is what your 55 has I am guessing it would be the same interior but can't confirm it. The pics kinda suck but there are a couple on ebay and autotrader now.

I have a silver arrow SL65. The paint is indeed a more metallic version of the normal silver, and the interior has a different leather/alcantra mix. You also get 50th anniversary floormats and emblems, and carbon fiber interior trim.
