Nice cars! You are a lucky guy. One question, why didn't you opt for the Turbo Arnage?

PRChris could spin a good yarn. His thread was one of the most entertaining things I have read.

First of all, I will do a picture of them all together once I get back to my house. Right now, I am in the Boston area with a friend. (Ricky can check) I get back on March 6th. You will get in each car a sign that says Richboy--MBWORLD. I still don't understand how you can't see the red car and the same driveway in the second Arnage picture as in all the others? Beyond me!

Well, if you have time to come into this forum and ask us if you should purchase a Bentley, you should have the time to fill our requests of taking a picture with all three cars together. I am just stating this so you can prove us you actually own them rather than sneeking into someone's garage and taking camera phone pictures of their hard earned cars and representing them as your own, we've had quite a few losers on this board recently, not that you should have to prove anything to us, but you just seem a little hard to believe. BTW, why would you buy the Conti when the new Azure is coming out, just tell your mother that you'll drive it slow.

BTW, how do you think you have posted those pictures a while back, it seems to me that you just joined MBWorld and everyone of your posts are in this thread with the exception of one, so just curious, please tell us where you posted these pictures before or are you just mistaken.

As I said before, I will more than happy to put all the three cars in one picture for you when I return home from the trip. I actually have the pictures of the drawing Bentley sent me to thank me for purchasing an Arnage, do you want me to send that to the forum? I just bought a new Sony digi camera so no more camera phone!
March 6th is the day!
P.S.: Thanks very much for the info on the Azure I will contact my dealer!

Anyone have experience with Continental GT and a 65 AMG car? Thanks.

GTs are dogs but they are good in the luxury dept. Plus they are old news. Get the new Murcielago-LP640 or the 4 Door DB9. Make a statment!

Here we go again....!

That being said, I would recommend the Bentley Continental GT Convert.

The Bentley (although it shares the same chassis as the VW Phaeton and Audi A8) is more rare, seems more comfortable and has just as much raw power.

No question, go with the VW, I mean, Bentley.

I've owned both an SL55 and the Continental GT. First, I fully concur with D-2... my car is similarly equipped and the extra horsepower and lower center of gravity really turns the GT into a beast. It's surprisingly fast, incredibly stable and smooth as glass. The luxury, fit and finish have already been addressed.

It's not, however, the raw sports car feel of the AMG SL, nor does the coupe have the open air option. The new Bentley Convertible is a ragtop, though, lacking the folding hard top technology that is a cornerstone of the MB and the new B-badged ride is yet unproven as to whether it will have the same ultra solid handling characteristics of the coupe.

So my recommendation?

I guess in your instance I'd steer you to the Bentley GTC, as the car would likely never see a cloudy day and the ragtop might never come out of its boot. For me, if I had to do it over again, I'd still get the GT Coupe but I would never have sold my modified SL55.

Between those two cars you have the best of both worlds. A luxurious Bentley beast for anytime driving and the sporty growl of the SL55 for those days when the sun is shining on twisting Southern California mountain roads and the fresh air beckons.

I can't believe I missed this thread until now! When Ricky busted PRChris/RichBoy, he merged the two accounts. Because of that, the sn Richboy became available for someone else to register. PRCHris used RichBoy while this is now Richboy. Who this new richboy is remains to be answered. Very similar writing styles though.
