P.S.: Thanks very much for the info on the Azure I will contact my dealer!
Anyone have experience with Continental GT and a 65 AMG car? Thanks.
GTs are dogs but they are good in the luxury dept. Plus they are old news. Get the new Murcielago-LP640 or the 4 Door DB9. Make a statment!
That being said, I would recommend the Bentley Continental GT Convert.
The Bentley (although it shares the same chassis as the VW Phaeton and Audi A8) is more rare, seems more comfortable and has just as much raw power.
No question, go with the VW, I mean, Bentley.
It's not, however, the raw sports car feel of the AMG SL, nor does the coupe have the open air option. The new Bentley Convertible is a ragtop, though, lacking the folding hard top technology that is a cornerstone of the MB and the new B-badged ride is yet unproven as to whether it will have the same ultra solid handling characteristics of the coupe.
So my recommendation?
I guess in your instance I'd steer you to the Bentley GTC, as the car would likely never see a cloudy day and the ragtop might never come out of its boot. For me, if I had to do it over again, I'd still get the GT Coupe but I would never have sold my modified SL55.
Between those two cars you have the best of both worlds. A luxurious Bentley beast for anytime driving and the sporty growl of the SL55 for those days when the sun is shining on twisting Southern California mountain roads and the fresh air beckons.

Its just that we've had a lot of guys claiming sh*t like this and with the whole IP thing and all- it just seems fishy.

are you PRChris cause I could have sworn "richboy" posted in the Carerra GT thread, and you stated you lived in NYC, (but you posted cars with Il plates) I am a bit confused.
