says teh o-60 is 5.4, i think they got this the wrong way round, should be 4.5...anyways you get a nice look at a magma SL 55 and the berry red interior

2003 CL 55 2003 SL55 2000 S500 DESIGNO, 1999 SL 500 Sport, 1997 S320
Magma Red SL55
I was bouncing back and forth between ordering the Silver (seems like there's a gazillion silver cars here in Souther Calif) but this pic is swaying me. Only I think I'd go with the stone interior w/ Chestnut wood. I know it's not a SL55 interior but so what (and I'd leave off the parktronic too). I like the five spoke wheels but with the Magma I'd consider bright chrome. The jury is still out until I see more 500's on the road. I live at the beach and Silver sure would be easier to keep up. I had a 98' SL500 Sport in Red with tan interior with chrome wheels and I loved it. Thanks for the Pics and the copy.
I'm 2nd on the list at my dealership for a SL55 and the pricing games have already started. I might be wearing them down with some common sense but who knows. Too many guys here flashing wads of cash to the dealers and it's causing the greed factor to rise daily. You'd think they'd would have made a couple of grand over w/s on the hundred plus SL500's they'll sell, rather than thinking of making a killing on a hand full of SL55's.
My dealer told me that if I give up my place on the SL55 list they'd give me the next SL500 or first crack at either the 2003 S55 or S600. Anyways the next 30 to 45 days will tell us all a lot.
