Q: Kleeman K1 1/4 mile times

just wondering if anyone else here has done the Kleeman K1. and have 1/4 miles times. i know most of us 55 owners are bit older and just don't find the time on weekends to run their cars, i being one of them, but i was hoping there may be one in this bunch who has. just curious.

I plan on doing the K2 in May. If I get to a track I'll post it here.

I have done 12.05secs with K3 (12.5 stock)....Now i have K4 i am sure i will break 12 secs!!

Please note i have an LSD from AMG which has also been modified by Kleemann to allow upto 60% slip....this is essential in getting better times, horsepower alone is not enough!!!!!

really, i would have hoped a K3 would have done mid to low 11's.
i agree with you, LSD is a must.

No chance....low 11's is Enzo/Ruf RT12 territory, not for our heavy assed mercs. Have heard of a guy in the states who claims to have run 11.75 secs with stage 4 on an SL55 though.

I don't know much about the 06 Z06, but I know that most drivers can't drive them well enough to get low 11's yet (right?). I have saw a major mag get a 12.0 out of it, which is a little slow. Isn't it more of a mid 11's car?

C/D ran an 11.7 at 125, MT went 11.5 at 127. I personally went 11.8@123 in sub optimal conditions, having to lift on the 1-2 shift due to wheelhop. A well known member of Corvetteforum.com has managed 11.3 bone stock....but you're right....it's a mid to high 11 sec car in good hands, and most drivers will be lucky to get below a 12.0.

I am getting my car back later today with cam/headers...hoping for high 10s on drag radials.

i hear you, i'm fine with the k1 as i don't think i could keep the power down as is. i actually ordered the k2 but had issues with the headers and warranty(CA dealers are pretty shrewd when they see after market parts).

a member on the e55 forum (dje55)ran an 11.38@122 with kleemann k1 and evo headers without lsd basically a k2 car, this was with toyo street tires (not drag radials) there is a video of the run on the e55 forum an exception, rather than the rule.

Yeah, I heard about that 11.3 run. Thats very impressive. You will def be in the 10's with you mentioned mods. Thats not so bad, the 11.8 you ran!
