reus audio upgrade, New York Demo
For those who are interested in audio upgrades for their favorite MB's, Reus systems is one of the top candidates. They are doing a demo for NYC area enthusiasts. The link to the event is as follows:

The audio upgrade is awsome. I have enjoyed having it since January. They are upgrading the speakers in the doors (out with the BOSE) in late May. I got mine at the main shop in Anaheim California. I know some on the east coast were interested. Good chance to check them out. I think they are going to the NY auto show next week... wait a minute... there is no time and date on that page... I'll post that later. Gotta talk to Mr. Reus again...

How much does it cut into the trunk space, and is any of the space behind the seats eliminated by the system? What goes in the trunk, speakers or amps? Also, does the Reus system eliminate the annoying automatic volume adjustment that is triggered by changes in the ambient noise level?

i just went last weekend to upgrade my horrible bose system and had a few questions.
where did you mount the tweeters?
did you guys run a 12 in the spare tire compartment?
was there a significant difference in the sound with your custom setup.

OK, got the updated info, the event at detailing dynmics is on April 9th.
"From 3 PM to 8 PM this Sunday April 9th."
Their booth at the auto show is as follows:
"Our Exhibit at the NY Auto Show is lower level, Booth 1223 next to GMC and Chevrolet Trucks. The NY show runs from April 14th through April 23rd at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhatten."
Jackstraw, I suggest you contact detailing dynamics or stop by for the awsome demonstration of the stereo. Ian and I are both happy with the results. or you can conatct him at the reus audio store in anaheim.. or is it the city of orange.. go to the website www.reusaudio.com
As for satellite radio... I am not sure because that was not an option on my car. I have an 04'. But, I put in the video upgrade and the got THX in there and boy does that make a difference. I have a movie theater on wheels! I'll post pics in a couple weeks... I still haven't gotten my car back yet. They are waiting for parts for the AMG brakes. Turns out you can't just bolt them on, had to change the steering arm and all that other stuff... aye!
Spread the word to the east coast fans... Oh, they got it for the BMW M5 as well. Check them out.
