V12 upgrades
Does anyone have information on V12 upgrades??? This is the last engine to retain the outdated 3 valve technology, eventually doesn't an upgrade have to happen?
Many other companies are marketing direct injection, when does MB??

Personally I think this is the BEST V12 upgrade... Put every cent you have into getting a SL55... add chrome accents, a SLK hood, some odd stickers, and then as a final touch - slap a "V12" over the V8 Kompressor badge and roll in total V20 style.

I spoke to a MBUSA rep at the NY Auto Show. He tried to explain to me all about the "all new SL body style". Where do they get these guys????

Actually that info was in one of the auto mags a few months ago when they discussed the new MB engine lineup. I remeber the V12 was "last" to get the 4 valve heads etc.

If you have a 600, I'd also recommend an exhaust system. The 600 is just way too damn quiet and sounds really good with a nice set of mufflers.
