Paddles...

HI,

Great pics by the way. Can I ask - were those paddles available on the old SL55 - or were they an option? Are they now standard on the new SL55? I think they look a lot better than those wheel shifts. Has anyone driven the car with those paddles - what is it like to drive? As annoying as a Maserati for gear changes or as smooth as a Ferrari F430?

Would be interested for people's thoughts.

Regards

Neil

The paddles are new for the new SL55. I'll take delivery of my new SL55 with the Performance Package next Saturday and will post my thoughts on how the paddles feels.

Yes!

They should be made part of the AMG option for the SL550.
I have a hard time justifying the current price of that option.
