SL55 Sighting in NYC
Knowing that the SL55 is not out stateside yet, I was quite surprised when I saw an SL55 this afternoon parked in the service area of a building across the southside of NY Palace hotel at 50th and Lexington (for those who know: the other side of the RR/Bentley showroom). The rims which are uniquely available to the SL55 and resembled those on the CLKGTR and the V8 Kompressor badge above the side gills points out that this was not a regular SL500 which is starting to be a regular sight in the city.
I returned there again 15 minutes later and the gate to the service area is closed so couldn't see it a second time. For those who work around that area, see if you can catch a glimpse of it next time you walk by.

There are actually a fair number of VIP SL 55 in New York now...at least four delivered by MB-Manh....one of them today...see my post...I am sure other dealers in the area are getting VIP releases as well.
