Service Campaign #2006-030011
Just got a letter from MB: DCAG has determined that the software for the engine control unit needs to be updated to correct a potential malfunction which could render the secondary air injection pump relay inoperable.
Please mention Service Campaign #2006-030011
This applies to 2002-2006 AMG versions of the SLK-Class, C-Class, E-Class, CL-Class, S-Class, CLS-Class, SL-Class, and G-Class vehicles.
THANK GOD the M-Class was spared.

fast cars and faster motorcycles ..
i was told that it pumps air into the exhaust.. epa stuff?
my car was already at the dealer so they took care of it..
.
like i said, i would be afraid to own a late model mb without a warranty..

2003 SL55 2007 S550
My 2003 SL55 has the Speed Tuning flash. Looks like I'm going to lose the Speed Tuning software since Mercedes will flash the ECU.
Any other Speed Tuning customers unhappy about this?

2004 SL55
Had mine done today, they told me they just replaced a relay and didn't need to flash the ECU.
