last weekend .. US leg.. Salt Lake City to Vegas to LA..

AMG SL 55
I heard that both the SLRs broke down due to alternator problems. And it was the most unreliable car of the this years gumball. 
Oh well MB still kick *** in style. Oh I also heard that there was a big Lambo crash in the Thailand leg from my F-car club buddies in Bangkok.

well, only from vegas thru death valley...... on my yamaha fjr 1300 motorcycle... then thru Panamint valley on to Palm Desert for bike storage and a hot tub..
.
i did see you guys though, several times....
.
i was following the lead bentley, ford gt and ferrari F50 for 50 miles at least, until i got bored cause the F 50 was so loud and i didn't want to run that particular bike (sport tourer) over 130.. (wind buffeting) .. so i stopped for gas, as i was going into death valley and wanted to run with some other cars..
.
The lead cars would get ahead of head of me but i would catch them in traffic and in towns.. (good acceleration!! especially for fast passing)
.
next time i will bring a faster bike..
.
and next time after that, a fast car..
.
lots of expensive speeding tickets but none for me .. yahoo..
.
it was a blast, you should try it on a motorcycle..
.
i have learned that it's the journey not the destination,.. so i stopped numerous times to take pictures and enjoy life and the scenery..
