How much of an discount on a 2006 SL55
Id like some feedback as to what some of you have paid for a 06 SL55.
My dealer has a 2006 that stickers for 149,000... it has the performance package, keyless, pano, parktronic, vent seats, and phone.

if it has the pp package on it, especially on 06, i have a feeling this was a custom ordered car and the original buyer backed out of the deal.. so you might have some wiggle room from the money they got from the deposit of the other guy... i've never heard of a pp package being ordered without a custom request (per se the rarity as indicated in the previous post)

Seems like a new '06 SL55 (even w/PP) is a hard sell w/o signif discount to any informed buyer.....
'07 SL55 has some 15-20 extra hp/lb-ft, tighter steering, revised 2nd-gen ABC, more interesting exhaust note, paddle shifters, etc for roughly identical MSRP to '06 (and perhaps better lease terms, given it's the freshened model)....and yet, from what I hear from NYC/SF dealers, custs don't seem very interested in '07 SL55s, as the fashionistas see minimal exterior styling changes.....and many of the performance-focused guys will cross-shop vs 997TT....i.e., discounts and attractive lease terms are easy even on new '07 SL55 w/PP.....
