I saw a GT at the Mercedes Dealership 3 days ago and decided that it was time. 2005, 4500 miles Black Exterior. What a georgeous car. The SL65 now has company. I'm on the learning curve again, and I am starting from scratch. Help.

To be honest, no idea. Mulliner or MTM?
I'd have to do more research on it, I'd probably call Evosport and see if they have any references.

Pics coming this weekend. I got a pretty good deal, but nothing to scream about. I got tired of waiting on the auction. The color choices were not there.

im guessing you have a bunch of cars cos having just 2 and picking sl65 and gt wouldnt make much sense. what else have you got? g-wagen or range rover would be a nice compliment. I prefer the looks/perfromance of 65 to gt but looking forward to some pics

No Rover yet, but the Sequoia is a 2005 that is large enough for my family.

Congrats on an incredible ride DBERRY, nice stable.

AWE in conjunction with GIAC has by far the best tuning program for the GT. I looked into tuning for a friend of mine. If you have not been to over to "6speed" I suggest you come over and check us out, tight nit group. I have been a long time member of both forums but hang out there more...a little more serious. Im DrivenAgain on "6speed" Atatched is a pic of my buddy's C-GT on 22''s Email Mike Romano, he knows his stuff. mike@awe-tuning.com

I am trying to decide on which size to go with for the Rims. 22's or 20's. Do your friends rims come from Bentley or are they customized?

They are aftermarket, not a factory Bentley wheel. Post some pics when you get a chance.

Congrats on the GT how does it compare to the SL65

I am thinking about a Flying Spur (works with the baby) or a SL65 (fun car but baby can not come)

What are your thoughts?

Thanks

There is very little comparison in the category of performance. The SL has acceleration that is clearly untouchable for most stock cars. However the Bentley is clearly the winner in luxury. The interior is by far superior to any car that I have seen or driven. The attention to detail is on a completely different level. Maybe I need to take a close look inside the Phantom or Maybach to compare the interiors. The Flying Spur is your only choice for the little one. LOL
The aerofoil is cool when it pops up at 100, and the infotainment system (navigation, radio,cd) and all of the other cool stuff is very user friendly compared to the Benz. My daughter figured the entire system out in about a 1 hour drive around town.
She reset the clock and the time was changed on a arm clock via GSP. It was cool to see that. OK. Here are a couple of pics from late yesterday. They are not the best because it was getting dark, but I will take some better shots this weekend.
I am catching hell trying to uplaod these pics. If someone PM me with their email address, I will send it to them to post for me.
