Is there a regional service manager in SoCal?
I just took my SL65 in for service and they did replace the inter-cooler pump on a TSB, even though it did not code on the ecu. But they would not do anything about a loud brake squeal. I want to take this to a higher level. Does anyone know who or where the regional service manager is for Southern Cal?
TIA

SL55 AMG Black on Berry Red
let me know if you find anything out. i took my SL55 to the dealer twice for brake squeaks and they just told me SL's do that!? can you believe their answer? they said it might be the supercharger clutch needs to be lubed or something. maybe, but them just saying SL's brakes squeak is no answer. what is the TSB for that you mentioned?

My 2005 SL has horrible brake squeak almost everytime I am close to a full stop; right now I am only at 6000 miles and this has been going on since it was almost new.

It seems that MB is aware of the early cars having intercooler pump problems. My service writer told me that a technical service bulletin was issued. But I think you have to specifically complain about it or they won't change it. It's like a quiet recall. They also change a bracket and hose for the brake system on a TSB.
I did find MB regional in Irvine, Ca. I called and complained and now am waiting for the service manager at Walters MB to get back to me.
