Something I am not quite sure of, I look at the new grill and have mixed feelings, I like it from certain angles but not from all, its nice with the chrome lip. I have studied all of the put up photo's against the new sales books and the new one fitted to the older car is correct in the way that it fits the car. The pictures of BMS's car are harder to difine as the grill has been painted to match the car, something that I would do if I change, though I have a silver car,I want to fit black wheels and I would do the grill black as well as I have the AMG kit with black grills. I may purchase the two chrome fog lamp surounds and adapt them to fit.
I have distronic, does the new grill come complete with the front cover, or do I use my existing one.

Black wheels are just coming to the UK, don't know if having the standard AMG's painted black with a polished lip would look ok,any thoughts please.

I think 18 inch AMG's would look too small painted black especially with a contrasted silver car....I would do it right and get some staggered 20's ...black with a chrome lip.

Thanks for the answer, Sadly I would not get ½ mile in the UK on 20" You are right though, ithink I must stick with the 18"'s but get a wheel with a large wide polished /stainless rim.

Neither the grille on mine nor the one on BMS' car has been painted. All 2007 AMG grilles are black with a thin chrome fin at the front. That's also why they look really good on black cars, but not so great on silver cars IMO.
