On topic; what I find interesting is that this man in the photo didn't just settle for an SL55 AMG badge on his SL500 but went completely over the top with the SL65 badge...

it's funny how this thread is getting so many posts. i guess it really hits a chord with everyone. just drive along the 405 or 101 in los angeles and you can spot these fake badges all around you. i saw a honda accord with the star pointed star before. let's all just get along and move on.
