Question How Realistic are TMVs from Edmunds and/or Other Similar Sites
Have you ever used Edmunds.com, or ForbesAutos.com, or Autos.yahoo.com, etc? How realistic are the posted MSRP and Invoice amounts? Are they pretty good for reference? Have you ever followed their advice on negotiating prices with dealers?

I'm just curious as I'm still shopping for the best deal I could get for an SL55 AMG (2006 or 2007). Has anyone ever gone to a dealer and show this prices and say "how much over invoice are you willing to part with this car? I'm thinking of doing this and I'd like to learn from the pros out there, who had done creative negotiating...
