Carbon Fiber Intake
It's in the pipeline from a fellow member who goes by the name of vrus on the E55 forums.
According to the part numbers and a few in the know, the intakes should all fit on the SL55 with no issue, it's the S55 that has fitament problems.
So all in all, if you want to get in on this, just take a look at this thread (I know it's long, just have patience)

Just to quickly summarize the thread, vrus is going to make an intake for the 55 AMG engines to increase horsepower as well as make the intake out of carbon fiber
It'll look good, and it'll preform, as well as being economical. The goal is to be half the price of the other tuners CF airboxes.

Is there one of those cone-style "cold air intakes" out for any Mercedes? I'm just suprised that nobody has taken off the airbox and replaced the whole thing with a cold air intake. Regardless, it looks like a very nice project.
