A Celebrity's Mercedes SL65 - Claims 815 h.p. with a chip?
I read an article at DuPont Registry Celebrity Car Article Link
which highlighted celebrity Tony Kanaan's Mercedes SL65. In the article it says,
"Tony Kanaan’s Mercedes SL65 may look comparatively common, but the AMG-built Benz, is the fastest of them all. Known as the most powerful production roadster in the world, the SL65 comes standard with a biturbo twelve-cylinder 600-pony engine under the hood. This would normally be more than enough power, but Kanaan has hopped it up further with a chip that brings it to a mind-blowing 815 horsepower."
Is it possible to take the stock SL65 to 815 h.p. with only a chip as the article claims?

I have heard some tuners able to push the envelope on 65's to hp circa 700hp but to get to that number there would have to be other variables involved. Maybe the article misquoted hp for torque??

bigger turbo's would be required for 200 hp more.
In addition to airbox, exhaust, ECU, and Intercooler work........
Then the half shafts, differential and trans wil need some work......
