Time between order and delivery for 07 SL55?
What is the average time between paying my deposit and placing my order to having an 07 SL55 delivered?
I'm in SoCal near FJ Newport, MB LN, Caliber, etc., if its any faster from a more "high volume" area.

My experience...
If you are looking for first available then check all the dealers... there might be one out there ready to sell off the lot.
if you want to special order your car, normally about 3 to 4 months.
The dealers have build slots, they can tell you almost to the day, IF you have a good dealer/salesman.

Hi, new to the forum. I just ordered last week and they told me 10 to 12 weeks, but more likely 12 weeks. I had them search for Iridium Silver anywhere with any options and all the ones they found were already sold.

Pick out the dealer you are going to do business with and get it together now.
You can get shut out if supply and demand don't match...
Special order the car with the exact options you want, and do it now for the time delivery you want.

it probably doesn't matter when it comes to final price...
FJ sells more mb's than the entire country of germany.

You're joking right? This isn't exactly some limited edition Ferrari we're talking about but a mass producted Mercedes. This is the first time I've heard of anything like that and I spoke to FJ Newport about a year ago and no mention of any "supply and demand" issues.
