Exclamation Order and RECIEVE a SL55 in one month!!!

Ok........

Well, I just got back from my dealer to check the status on my CL55 and I inquired about the SL55 and what the wait is like. Well, they have a little promotion going on at Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel in California.

If you buy an SL600 that they have on their showroom floor. (silver on ash and sticker is 128,000). You will be IN your SL55 and driving in 30 days. Period. But you have to buy both.

So......for all of you that have an extra $260,000.00 lying around and you really itching to get rid of it, talk to my salesman Steve at Laguna Niguel and he'll be more than happy to set you up.

you must mean the OLD SL600 right?

well...i wouldn't really want the old model...its just too out of date and chassis isn't that great. i've sat and driven my dad's friends SL500, its a fine car. very tight.

the old SL is quite weak imo. and as for the 260,000....gimme one night at Ceasars. not even old enuff to gamble..what am i saying..

Yes, its a 2002 SL600. Older bodystyle. And yes, I agree with you, just doesn't do it for me anymore. Not after seeing the new SL.

..and is the SL55 offered at MSRP?

So the dealer wants MSRP for the 2002 model SL600 (which should probably be reduced by 10% to 20% to adjust for market value). Does the 0ffered deal provide the SL55 2003 model for MSRP and if so what color and options? Assuming both go for MSRP this "offer" equates to paying a $13,000 to $26,000 premium to get the SL55. Not really a bad deal considering that the 2003 SL55's I've heard selling at market value recently have been going for premiums of $30,000 plus.

Okay 260K for two SL's. The 600 is 128K so that leaves 132K for the SL55, which is 18K over the 114K MSRP.

Maybe,maybe not

Depends what options and of course there is gaz guzzler and luxury tax on bothl unless you wait until January 1st which could shave off the luxury tax - assuming the dealer and purchaser both want to wait.
