I recently had an oil change and after driving the car on the freeway a few days after, a "reduce oil level" warning appeared. I brought the car into the dealer and they said the sensor was bad and replaced it last week. Today driving on the freeway, it appeared again. Now considering the oil level is correct and the sensor is new. What damage could have been done during the initial oil change that would be setting this off?. BTW, my service rep said they have been getting quite a few of these malfunctions recently.

Thats a change ... I usually get the warning of:

"Add 1qt oil at next refueling"

ive had this on my 03 without any fixes. never told the dealer yeti was thinking of getting the dipsitck to check the oil myself.
