Thx!

I drive too many kilometers with a 'heavy right foot' for a car like the M5!

But.......without any doubt, my E55 will (b)eat an M5!

No mods, but My E 55 is very fast (faster than many other E55's, probably because the way that I use the car ) and E55 is faster than CLS 55 (lighter)!

Next time; drop the people out of you're car, select the Manual (on Manual the car take's more RPM's), cut down the airco and you will take him easily!

Don't forget the driver of the M5 has to select the 500 Hp status as well, before he can do anything....

A few weeks ago My E55 beat an 996 Turbo!
From 0-100 km/u, 100-200 km/h and finally I disappeared on the horizon above the 300 km/h.......

I didnt want to go in M mode as my car only has 4800km on the ODO , so im trying not to push it too much... nothing more than racing with an ///M

Now you are really joking!

You have 4800 km on the 'ODO' and you didn't try the manual yet?

Why not, are you frightened to overload the engine or the gearbox?

Let me show you the next pictures:

The first picture was taken the second day I had the car with 691 km on the 'ODO' using the Manual mode (sorry on that time the car was still limited on 250 km/h).

The second picture was been taken recently after 135938 km! And the car is (of course) unlimited and beliefe me, I'm not really, handle it with care!

Thats why I love the AMG's............. They are been built for use!

Hallo mate... I had an E46 M3 SMG before and had considerable problems with it... maybe it was because i pushed it quite hard before the 2000km break-in.

Since i plan on keeping the CLS55 for a LONG time, i want to make sure i treat my baby well for sure i dont want to stress that engine

so youre saying its quicker in M than in S mode ??

when i raced the M5 i was in D

As I said already; on Manual the car take's more RPM's!

On Manual the car runs 304 km/h in the 4th gear and on the normal D/S mode, it changing gear at ± 292 km/h! So on every speed in every gear, the car takes more RPM before it shift to the next gear!
