SL55/63/65/R230 AMG New Amg Engine?

New Amg Engine?

We all know that the SL55 engine is quite getting old and since the new 6.2 Liter AMG Engine is out already, are there any words from MB if they will fit a new engine to replace the old 55 Kompressor?

the new version of 55 kompressor engine comes in 2007 SL 55.

pls enlight me, when you mean new version of the 55 Kompressor, you meant ALL NEW ENGINE or its just the kompressor that is new and the engine is the same SOHC?

new more efficient compressor design ... 517bhp and 730nm ... now at 2450rpm
