Sl 55 Vibration

I just purchased a 2006 SL55 with Brabus 20" wheels and Nankang, ultra sport tires. When driving at speeds above 60 mph, I detect a noticeable vibration. Anyone have a similar experience? If so, what do you recommend?

have mbnz give you a free alignment under warranty. if that doesn't fix it, have them take off the tires off the wheels to look for bends.. if they are fine.. time for your warranty to kick in and let mercedes find out what's up.

I would think it would be more of a tire balance issue than alignment. If your tires are balanced and the car still vibrates, then one or more of your rims may be bent.

Aside from that, suspension issues can cause vibrations.

Newton22 is correct... The tires are out of balance. One of the weights fell off or, they were balanced incorrectly from the start.

Could be a tire defect, but I doubt it.
