a Black
"oh sh_t...what the f_ck was that?"

It was classic how she responded to the roll bar on the SL!

Suppressing results, especially since she bashed the SLK whole ride.

For me, it is about the driving experience.................even more than the clock times.............

If my car makes me feel fast and invunerable.........I could not care less about track times.

My -55 makes me feel like King-Kong on steroids...........that's all.

And Adam/Tony at Euroelites, w/Renntech parts....

They made it happen.

Car is fast...

Vicki is, in my humble opinion, a fine driver........and she is very pretty..........and she proved herself human..........by saying the word "F--K" in the Review..........-55 is truly in a class by itself.......(in my opinion)

SLK55 is a nice car...........but not a Fast/Quick car.........

On many tracks, SLK55 is faster than SL55 and would probably be faster in this comparison with a professional drive. Evo magazine tested both on 1.8 mile Bedford Autodrome course and SLK55 achieved 1.29.03, which was faster than both SL55's (1.30.05) and SL600 (1.29.95). The difference in times there was much greater too, more than a second. Acceleration times are almost identical on SLK55 and SL55. Car and driver got 0-60 in 4.3 for the SLK55 and 4.5 in SL55. In the 1/4 mile, SL55 did 12.5, while SLK55 managed a 12.7 (although SL55 will be faster from a roll and at 100mph+ speeds). So could you please explain how an SLK55 is not a fast/quick car? It matches the performance and in some instances outperforms a car that costs twice as much, while also offering the same hardtop convertible experience? I'm not going to even mention the fact that SLK55 outbrakes and outhandles the SL55 and is way more fun to drive toss around b/c it weighs 1,000lbs less.

P.S. And Vicki is definitely not pretty.

I guess my standards for women need work........sorry.....I thought she had nice ****.

I yield,............guess I should have bought an SLK.........I could have gotten a new one for what I paid for a 1&1/2-year old SL55...........my mistake.

Live and learn. Thanks, Tuskir.

SLK55 and SL55

Tuskir

I dont know about all that data. Just my real world experiences.
Driven both and the SL seems like it has way more legs.
Especially from 60 to 100+ MPH than the SLK.
Drove both at the AMG Challenge last year and own the SL55
My Ex has a SLK320. So I am very familiar with the cockpit size.

One thing I can tell you for sure is my 6 foot
220 and change butt dont fit all that well in a SLK.
IMHO its a chick car or for a 5 foot 8 guy.
SL fits just right for me.

Vicki. She is not the prettiest but not bad at all. Remember she is English.
What did you expect ? I think she has cute **** too.
I bet she would rip you up hard on a overnight stay.

I never said that the SLK55 is somehow better and you made a mistake by buying the SL55. I was simply replying to your comment, "SLK55 is a nice car, but not a fast/quick car". There is plenty of data that shows that the performance of SL55 and SLK55 is very close making it a driver's race... even on that video SLK55 was just 0.3 seconds slower so it could've gone either way depending on the driver.

I guess if you own one of these cars and drive it you can make comparisons.
But to quote "Car and Driver". "Look at a video" and make comparisons.
It just aint the same as real world seat time.

Very Close. 0.3 Seconds.
On a tight course. Times just get tighter.

But on a larger road course or in the canyons.
SL55 all the way.

Its going to be 90 this weekend in Cali. TOP DOWN !!!!!

Hey Tuskir. Have you ever even driven a SL55 or SLK55 ?????
