My car got featured in Forza!
I know its not a Merc, but my 348 got a feature spread in Forza magazine.

Here's their web site....note, MY name under Shummy's......perhaps we'll go for some pasta next week!

They are factory 348/355 Challenge wheels. They weigh about 10 pounds each. Great wheels.

As far as chips go, I have a spare nose that I was swapping out every year and having repainted, but now I have some 3m on the car....and no chips!! Besides....most cars are behind me anyway!

Did you do it or have someone else? I saw it on a black 55 and couldn't tell it was on. With my silver, it will be invisible...

Thanks....It is a clean car, but its not had a sheltered life. Its been everything from a daily driver, to a track car, hillclimb car.....and a few cross country vacations. There have been a few complaining females and a happy Newfoundland in the passenger seat......but its been a great car.

Just out of curiosity, why keep the Mondial and sell the F40? F40 being more iconic and to this date is still considered by most as the car for the track purist.

There was too much money to be made. As iconic as it was......its yesterday's news. The SL55 is just about as fast and rewarding to drive.....and you can hear yourself think!

Its a case of 'been there, done that' as well.
